Steve Pankiewicz

I am currently the music director at St. Francis Xavier Catholic High School, located 30 km east of Ottawa Ontario. I have been employed there since 1995 enthusiastically conducting bands and choirs. Our school's 100 member senior concert band has travelled under my direction to locations such as New York City, Washington D.C., Baltimore, Chicago, Boston, Halifax, Toronto and all the way to Austria! 

When I'm not watching over teenagers during my travels, I attempt to travel during every major teaching holiday. Some of my most memorable journeys include treks to Germany, England, Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, Columbia and Venezuela. I have travelled extensively throughout Canada and the United States, including an adventurous road trip from Ottawa to Alaska.

You can also find me teaching piano privately, accompanying ballet classes on piano, playing piano in bars, restaurants and social gatherings as well as being recruited to play piano in high school musicals!
