Terry Fox Run
Ellison Travel & Tours proudly supports The Terry Fox Foundation in its ongoing work to fund innovative and progressive cancer research programs. As a company we have supported and participated in the Terry Fox Run since 1982 when Doug Ellison organized the first Terry Fox Run in Exeter, ON, and each year since, Ellison Travel & Tours’ employees from coast to coast lace up to join the run, all with the common goal to "make cancer history".

Free the Children …children helping children through education
Free the Children believes in a world where all young people are free to achieve their fullest potential as agents of change. They are a charity and educational partner that empowers youth to remove barriers that prevent them from being active local and global citizens. Their domestic programs educate, engage and empower hundreds of thousands of youth in North America and the UK. Their international projects, led by their holistic and sustainable Adopt a Village model, has brought over 650 schools and school rooms to youth and provided clean water, health care and sanitation to one million people around the world, freeing children and their families from the cycle of poverty.  Ellison Travel & Tours supports Free the Children in their commitment to provide access to education for children worldwide through the building of a school in Kenya and other fund-raising projects.

Stephen Lewis Foundation
The Stephen Lewis Foundation (SLF) supports community-level organizations that are turning the tide of HIV/AIDS in Africa by providing care and support to women, orphans, grandmothers and people living with HIV and AIDS. Since 2003, they have funded more than 700 initiatives with 300 community-based organizations in the 15 African countries hardest hit by the pandemic.  Ellison Travel & Tours sponsored flights for a children’s choir from Africa to perform in London, ON on tour in North America  to create awareness and participates in other local fundraising projects in support of the Stephen Lewis Foundation. 

Town and Country Support Services
Town and Country Support Services is a leading not for profit health care agency providing quality community support services, supportive housing services in Huron County and personal support/homemaking in Huron and Perth Counties and surrounding areas.  Ellison Travel & Tours’ employees share a Christmas tradition of raising funds at an annual Christmas party in support of Town and Country Support Services.

Ellison Travel & Tours Annual Charity Golf Classic
The Annual Charity Golf Classic began in 1997 and since has raised over $100,000 for charities noted below.  In 2012 our 16th annual tournament date is Wednesday, June 20th, 2012 at Ironwood Golf Club in Exeter. Ellison Travel & Tours has been packaging tours to Musicfest Canada since 1992 and as such we recognize the value of promoting music and arts as part of a well-rounded education.   Musicfest Canada provides an exceptional opportunity for young musicians and Ellison Travel & Tours, as the official housing coordinator is proud to sponsor this outstanding festival in order to make it affordable for all of Canada’s youth.
