After thirty five years teaching French and History at the high school level (12 years in Quebec and 23 years in Ontario), I thought it was time for me to say goodbye to teaching and take more time for my other passion - traveling.

As a teacher, I always encouraged my students to participate in exchange programs to live fully the culture of a country at every possible level or at least to travel with the school to be able to taste a part of another culture. I also learned from my students how teenagers think, and how to best manage a group of spirited teenagers.

In 1995, I began chaperoning students to France, Monaco, Italy and Spain and continued travelling with students over the next ten years as a tour manager.

Through my personal travels I have been to France, Italy, England, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Greece and have cruised in the Baltics, visiting Hamburg (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland), Stockholm (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Oslo (Norway). A cruise through Greece and Turkey took me to the islands of Hydra, Poros, Egina, Mykonos, Patmos, Rhodes, Crete, Santorini, and the cities Kusadasi and Ephesus.

On this continent I have visited many parts of the United States including New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Florida and Hawaii (the islands of Oahu and Hawaii, the Big Island) and Alaska. Born in Montreal, I have seen much of Quebec and have travelled throughout Canada.

After my retirement from teaching I took a cruise that brought me to Mexico (Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco), Costa Rica (Puntarenas), Panama (Fuerte Amador), and passed through the Panama Canal, en route to Colombia (Cartagena) and Aruba (Oranjestad).

I look forward to sharing more travel experiences to these and other areas of the world with you!
