I have been a travel counselor since 1982 and joined Ellison Travel & Tours in 1995.

Over the years I have had the good fortune to have travelled to many International destinations such as Britain and Ireland, Germany, Russia, parts of the Caribbean and Mexico, Hawaii, Argentina, Brazil, Alaska, Florida, Thailand and Hong Kong.

Canada’s east and west coasts are right here in our backyard and also are spectacular vacation destinations not to be overlooked.

Thailand and Hong Kong are very dissimilar, but make for a great travel combination. Thailand has friendly people, beautiful beaches, great shopping and excellent food. Whether you are exploring Bangkok's Grand Palace and Emerald Buddha or taking a cruise on the Chao Phya River or bartering for treasures at the floating markets or relaxing on the beach at Pattaya or Phuket, Thailand has something for everyone. A stopover in Hong Kong provides for a very diverse travel experience as you move from the rural countryside and small fishing villages to the high-energy, bustling city life. Hong Kong night life is not to be missed - neon signs light up the streets in both Chinese and English. Explore the night markets offering everything from silks to knock-off designer watches, purses, shoes and clothing. Hong Kong is a very safe city with a great transportation system and is a great stopover to add on to an exotic winter holiday in Thailand.
