In my final year at university, my friends were keen to start their careers.  I was intent on saving every penny so I could travel.  I bought a one way ticket to Bangkok and returned home 20 months and 16 countries later.  The diversity of culture, cuisine and topography was fascinating.  Every site and sound was intriguing.  I knew I was hooked.  Travelling would always be an integral part of my life.

My honeymoon was a six month adventure through South America.  Our two sons were born in Germany and as a family we explored many corners of Europe together.  I’ve visited every province and the Yukon in Canada, yet know there are countless beautiful corners left to explore.  I’m still exploring.

My fascination with culture and diversity has greatly influenced my life.  I have lived and worked in 5 countries, facilitated cross-cultural and diversity training for national and international companies, and am a life long foreign language learner.  I have managed music performance tours for youth bands and choirs within Canada and Europe.   I was thrilled to join the Ellison Team in 2011. As a tour manager, my goal is to help you enjoy your travel experience.  What better way is there to share my love of travel?
